Fly high at the Fest

Whaaaat? Haven’t got tickets to the Fest yet?????

Okay. Perhaps you were waiting to hear about our latest additions to the George Washington Whiskey Rebellion Fest, brought to you by the Community Trust Foundation.

And here they are:

A chance to win a private ride in a glider in the silent auction!
Tenth Ward Distilling Company, of Frederick MD, famous for their Corn Whiskey, Caraway Rye, Applejack apple brandy, and distilled mead are coming!! And ready to give you samples of their wares.

Miscellaneous Distillery, located in Mount Airy, Maryland has also signed up to be at the Fest. They will offer tastings of Risky Rum, Restless Rye Whisky, and Virtuous Vodka.

Don’t fancy spirits? (Hard to imagine, but we guess it takes all types!) Come and taste the beers offered by Terrapin, Dogfish Head, Stone, and Antietam.

On top of that, you can enjoy live Colonial games, mingle with re-enactors, get souvenir photos, and a goody bag. Sample dozens of whiskies and other spirits, wines, and craft beers. Visit the open beer and wine bar, and enjoy continuous delicious canapes by Good Carma Catering.

Tickets to the Fest at the early bird price of $50 are available at local bookstores in Cumberland and Frostburg, and online through whiskeyrebellioncumberland.org, the Whiskey Rebellion Cumberland Facebook page, and through “events” on the Allegany Museum Facebook page.

Please remember – tickets sold at the door will be $75.

All proceeds go to keeping Allegany Museum open and telling the great stories of our region.
