Try a Manatawny cocktail this weekend

Manatawny Still Works has given us the recipe for a cocktail they call THE JUG.
The name is inspired by a nickname for the former Moyamensing Prison which was once just steps away from their distillery on Passyunk Avenue.
The Jug showcases Manatawny’s gin that they age in tequila barrels.
DIRECTIONS:
Add Espiritu de los Dioses (tequila barrel-rested gin) to rocks glass.
Add lime juice.
Fill glass with ice.
Top with grapefruit soda.
Garnish with lime twist.
SUGGESTED PAIRINGS:
This tequila and gin mashup begs to be paired with some delicious tacos al pastor.
Don’t have any Espiritu de los Dioses on hand? Come to the George Washington Whiskey Rebellion Fest, brought to you by the Community Trust Fund, to taste and purchase this and Manatawny’s other spirits. Book your tickets NOW
The Fest opens 6.00 pm Friday June 8 at Allegany Museum, 3 Pershing St Cumberland MD. It kicks of a weekend of celebration of the heritage of Cumberland and George Washington.
