Red Pump Spirits, the first post-Prohibition distillery in Washington, Pa., will be joining us at the George Washington Whiskey Rebellion Fest, which will be brought to you by the Community Trust Foundation on Friday evening, June 8 this year.
Owner and distiller Ed Belfoure grew up in the Washington County coal patch of Cokeburg. The name “Red Pump” refers to a red water pump that once stood outside Ed’s family home.
Red Pump spirits include Farmhouse Whiskey, a wheat whiskey; Rebellion Rye Whiskey; Blue Parrot Vodka; and three fruit liqueurs: Washington Cherry, Jefferson Peach and. The Bradford Blackberry is named for Whiskey Rebellion leader David Bradford, also from the area.
Tickets are now on sale, and include an open beer and wine bar!
